Stephen Peprah pursued English, Political Science and Classics at the University of Ghana, and finished with BA (First Class Honours) in Political Science and Classics. He further MPhil in Classics at the University of Ghana and another MPhil in Classics at the University of Cambridge. He also finished his Ph.D in Philosophy at the University of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic

BIO
Egdūnas Račius (PhD in Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Helsinki, 2004) is Professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania). He is the Reviews Editor of the Journal of Muslims in Europe and a co-editor of the Yearbook of Muslims in Europe (both by Brill). His research interests encompass Eastern European Muslim communities and governance of religion (particularly Islam) in post-communist Europe.

Oksana Starshova is an Associate Professor at English Philology Department of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Before the war that made her and her family flee Ukraine, she taught the courses in World literature in the 20th century, Communicative Strategies in English, Academic Writing for PhD students, American Literature, Introduction to Border Studies from a Cultural Studies Perspective, etc.
3.00-3.30 ~ Vincenzo VERGIANI (FAMES) and Vinoth MURALI (India), Research Associate in Sanskrit Studies at FAMES, research topic: “Sanskrit grammar, literature and Alamkarashastra (poetics), Vedanta, and Jyotisha (astrology)”.
BIO
Dr. Vinoth Murali, from Chennai (India), graduated in a gurukulam, a traditional Vedic residential school, and then did a Bachelor of Education in Sanskrit at the Central Sanskrit University of Kerala. After a Masters in Sanskrit grammar (for which he was awarded a gold medal) at the SCSVMV University in Tamil Nadu, he went on to do a PhD in Sanskrit grammar in the same institution, which he completed in 2017. In 2018 he joined the French Institute of Pondicherry as a tenured researcher in Indology. Since September 2022 he has been working in Cambridge as a research associate in the project “An Intellectual History of Late Vedanta (1750-1900)”, led by Prof. Vincenzo Vergiani (FAMES).
