Ben-Willie K. Golo

Head of the Department for the Study of Religions University of Ghana

 

Ben is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department for the Study of Religions, University of Ghana, Legon. He is a constructive theologian in World Christianity and Religion and Society. His research areas are: African Pentecostalism; constructive African theologies; ecological theologies and ethics; indigenous religious ecologies and sustainability; and religion, society and wellbeing. He was the Principal Investigator (PI) for an Andrew Melon Foundation funded Small Grant Project “Religion and Subjective Well-Being Among Early Career Professionals in Ghana’s Public Universities”. Currently, he is the Ghana Local Investigator (LI) for the Abo Akademi Centre of Excellence International Collaborative Research project “Religion and Social Exclusion” under the auspices of the Department of Comparative Religion, Abo Akademi University, Finland.
