
Lianbi Zhu obtained her PhD at the University of Sheffield in 2012. She is now an associate professor in the Department of History, Fudan University. In recent years, her research interests have turned to the global history of the British Empire in the 19th and 20th centuries, covering identities, nationalism, and historiography. She teaches classes such as history of Great Britain, global history, imperial history and study of nationalism. She published about 20 peer-reviewed articles and one monograph in the past 10 years. As a public historian, she published over 80 articles about British history, cultural heritage, history education and UK contemporary politics in newspapers and online media.
