
Cyrelene is a Senior Lecturer in Women’s History and Head of the Department of History, University of Ghana, Legon.
Dr Amoah-Boampong is an African social historian with emphasis on Women’s and Gender history. She is an affiliate fellow of the Centre for Gender Studies and Advocacy at the University of Ghana. Currently, she is a co-investigator in a Supranational Andrew Mellon Foundation Grant project, “Decolonization, the Disciplines and the University” under the auspices of the Makerere Institute of Social Research, Makerere University, and a co-investigator on the “Gender equality and the decolonization of knowledge project” with the QES-AS West Africa.
