Greta Mijares – Senas

Global Humanities Network Co-ordinator University of Cambridge

Greta Mijares – Senas is the Global Humanities Initiative Co-ordinator at Cambridge University and has the lead administrative role for the global network.  Greta coordinates day‑to‑day operations and serves as the central administrative contact for academics, visitors,  and international partners. She manages programme communications, mobility and grant schemes, events, publicity, website content, and key meetings, supporting the Directors across all areas of activity.

Before starting her role in December 2021, she was a senior office administrator and a finance assistant for a leading organisation within the construction and developing sector in London and shared responsibility for all of the company’s accounts and logistics, including management of sales activities and customer support. 

Greta obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Cantabria, Northern Spain, where she qualified as a teacher in Physical Education.

Beyond her role, Greta is deeply connected to the natural world. She studies herbalism, enjoys foraging, painting and creates artistic pieces using natural materials.
